Photo Gallery - AFP 2019: Engage for ChangePosted: October 3, 2019
AFP 2019: Engage for Change, Buffalo State College’s 11th annual Anne Frank Project social justice festival, was held this week, featuring author and activist Alexis De Veaux, distinguished speaker in the Buffalo State College Paul G. Bulger Lecture Series, who kicked off the event Tuesday evening. The two-day festival also featured dynamic presentations by two Buffalo State alumnae: award-winning photographer Aitina Fareed-Cooke, ’12, ’16; and Ally Spongr, ’12, interim director of the Underground Railroad Heritage Center in Niagara Falls. Other events included an exhibition by the acclaimed illustrator E. B. Lewis, a 90th birthday celebration for Roswell Park cancer survivors, and a variety of workshops, music, and seminars. College photographer Bruce Fox captured much of the inspiration through his own creative lens. Check out his APF 2019 photo gallery on the Buffalo State Photography Services website.
